Binn Farm EFW

Located in Glenfarg, Scotland, lies a comprehensive and innovative resource management centre, operated by the Binn Group.

Encompassing various sustainable and low-carbon energy solutions, the centre includes waste management and recycling facilities that support the circular economy and promote environmental sustainability. The waste bunker stands at 23m high x 27m long.

BH Civil Engineering were appointed by CIDON to assist in the development of a new Energy from Waste facility, brought to Binn Eco park in Scotland through the collaboration of Binn Group and Paprec.

Our duties included:

• All in-situ and prefabrication steel fixing placement 
• Formwork, rebar and concrete package for the large slipform, to form new waste bunker walls
• Installation of TW propping to bunker walls
• Concrete placement and finishing to new slabs as per client spec
• Construction of RC walls and columns
