Currie High School

BH Civil Engineering had the privilege of working on the Currie High School and swimming pool development. Our first Passivhaus project and the first secondary school in Scotland to achieve Passivhaus certification.

Purpose-built to achieve net zero commitments within Edinburgh City Council, the development is set to improve insulation, air quality and air tightness. We worked alongside other subcontractors to complete the programme to spec and deadline.

We provided a full-service package including:

• Formwork, reinforcement and concrete package
• Pad foundations
• Bolt pads
• Concrete swimming pool
